...and am now twittering. Anon Commentator was right: in some circumstances it would be useful. You can find my tweet (singular) on twitter.com/alisoncroggon. Bear with me while I get the hang of electronic haiku.
That's a shame. What was great about your blog was that it gave time and consideration to subjects the print media were consistently squeezed on. I've never read a tweet I didn't regret. It's just vanity texting.
Agreed. But I must admit that it takes the stress off when no matter what I write, I can't find the right words for the blogging, which does happen now and again (like yesterday, I hope not today). Things take time to cook, and like the man said, by the time I found the words, the show is sometimes over.
Hi, Original Anon again. Now kind of outed myself. Sorry if I have helped create yet another Hoover of your time. Ignore comments about reading regretted tweets, 'cause yours won't be of that underclass. Stuff along the lines of: "Caught 'Ego' at Red Stitch - don't miss it, review follows in good time" - even as you leave the theatre. Can that be bad?
Oh dear... Where will it all end?
ReplyDeleteWell, you gotta admit - I held out longer than most.

ReplyDeleteAnd it's also junk fun, like having a maccas.
...and what's with the past tense?

ReplyDeleteAnother one bites the dust. Lynden Barber, Alison Croggon. Finally, you are all seeing the benefit.
ReplyDeleteGood on ya TN.
