So I gave in...

...and am now twittering. Anon Commentator was right: in some circumstances it would be useful. You can find my tweet (singular) on twitter.com/alisoncroggon. Bear with me while I get the hang of electronic haiku.

  2. Well, you gotta admit - I held out longer than most.

  3. That's a shame. What was great about your blog was that it gave time and consideration to subjects the print media were consistently squeezed on. I've never read a tweet I didn't regret. It's just vanity texting.

  4. Agreed. But I must admit that it takes the stress off when no matter what I write, I can't find the right words for the blogging, which does happen now and again (like yesterday, I hope not today). Things take time to cook, and like the man said, by the time I found the words, the show is sometimes over.

And it's also junk fun, like having a maccas.

  6. Hi, Original Anon again. Now kind of outed myself. Sorry if I have helped create yet another Hoover of your time. Ignore comments about reading regretted tweets, 'cause yours won't be of that underclass. Stuff along the lines of: "Caught 'Ego' at Red Stitch - don't miss it, review follows in good time" - even as you leave the theatre. Can that be bad?

  7. Another one bites the dust. Lynden Barber, Alison Croggon. Finally, you are all seeing the benefit.

    Good on ya TN.
