My reviews of Happy Days and Care Instructions, which both opened last week at the Malthouse, are respectively in Friday's and today's Australian. More to follow here later this week. I hope.
Great review of Happy Days. Didn't know what to expect from Kantor with this one, but was amazed by the incredibly skilful balance of spectacle and subtlety.
Beautiful performances, great design, and of course an amazing text.
I'm glad you liked it, Gilligan. It was one of those rare shows that left me feeling elated for the next couple of days. I admit that I approached it with trepidation: I thought Kantor and Beckett might be a disastrous mix. Nice to be wrong sometimes.

Two top notch shows from Kantor in a row.
