Here we take a tender interest in those writerly souls gathered into the nest of
Masthead. Or at least, we need an excuse to tie together a pointer to a couple of eye-catching posts that concern theatre writers we've published. Up in Sydney,
Nicholas Pickard liked Jasmine Chan's Corvus. A lot. And
Chris Goode, our favourite logorrheic blogger (and apparently
"British theatre's greatest maverick talent")
reports on the Plymouth season of his play
Speed Death of the Radiant Child (Guardian review
here). Both shows closing this weekend, and both good excuses, as far as I'm concerned, for the invention of the
transmat beam, or at minimum the faculty of
bilocation.
