Sleeping Beauty fistfight

To my frank surprise (I would have picked the show as uncontroversially enjoyable), my review of Sleeping Beauty has prompted more comments and argument than almost anything else I've reviewed. I think people wanted it to be more things. I've heard that people like to play 'what song is that' as though it were some classy stage version of Spicks and Specks"

BTW did you see the Psychosis at Red Stitch?

I've been thinking about that whole business of expectation. It's such a volatile thing! Yes, I did see Psychosis - did you? It's been wall to wall theatre this weekend, the RSC too, and I have seen three of what are probably among my top 10 plays. Full reports next week. Early, I hope...

I did see Psychosis (followed by the RSC's more famous play about a more famous psychosis)
